Mud Run
On the 4th of July they had a 7.5 K Mud Run here on base. Ryan decided to run in it. It was a really fun race. It was a run on dirt trails with lots of obstacles and water squirting over them in places. At the end there was a mud pit that they had to crawl through. He said it was one of the funnest races he's ever done. He did really well and finished 2nd in his age group.

How COOL!! I have always wanted to do a race like that. They have one in San Diego at camp pendleton.
Yeah-that sounds like a fun race. I would have liked it. You have to have an excuse to roll in the mud when you're a mom.
